Billing & credits
Your balance, topping up, auto top-up, subscriptions, and transaction history.
Your balance is one spendable pool of credits, shown on the header pill and the Billing page. 1 credit = $1.00 = 1,000 karma. When the balance can't cover a call, the API returns 402.
Top up
Buy credits through Stripe from the Billing page — a $10 minimum, preset amounts, plus a flat 5% fee (the only platform fee). Your balance updates after checkout, and a banner reports success or failure.
Auto top-up
Turn on auto top-up to refill automatically: set a threshold and an amount, charged to the card saved at your last checkout. Repeated payment failures pause it (with a reason); resume it anytime.
Subscriptions
A subscription unlocks a monthly credit allotment on a tiered plan — see the dashboard for the current plans and prices. Subscription credits are spent before top-up credits. Cancelling keeps your remaining credits spendable until the period ends; a failed payment shows a dunning banner with Update payment method.
Transaction history
The Billing page lists your ledger — credits in (top-ups, subscription grants, bonuses) and debits out (API and model spend), each with a date and a signed amount.
